Erin Klaus was born on November 21, 1996. She began gymnastics at the age of three at Eagles, where she still trains today. Erin will graduate from high school in 2015.

In 2007, Erin competed level eight. She finished tenth all-around at the State Championships. She competed at Regionals. In 2008, Erin placed second on bars at the IGI Chicago Style. She won bars and beam at the 2009 Chow's Rising Stars Challenge. She placed second on beam at the IGI Chicago Style. At Regionals, she finished first on bars, second on beam and third all-around. Erin began competing level nine in 2010. She finished third all-around at the Eagles Winter Invitational. She also placed third all-around at the St. Louis Classic. At the State Championships, she finished second on beam and third all-around. She finished sixth all-around at Regionals. She competed at Westerns.

Erin continued competing level nine in 2011. She finished first on bars at the Eagles Winter Invitational. She placed third on beam at the State Championships. She finished tenth all-around at Regionals. She competed at Westerns.
