Anneke Klaver was born on September 2, 1995. She trains at Byers Gymnastics in Elk Grove. She will graduate from high school in 2013.

In 2003, Anneke competed level four. She finished second on bars at the River City Classic. Anneke competed level five in 2004. She placed third on floor at the High-Tech Invitational. At the Zone Championships, she finished third on bars and beam. Anneke placed sixth all-around at the State Championships. She moved up to level six in 2005. She won vault, beam and the all-around at the River City Classic. She finished third on beam at the Hollywood Invitational. She placed third all-around at the Judges Cup. At the Zone Championships, Anneke placed third all-around. She finished second on vault and third all-around at the State Championships. She did not compete in 2006, instead preparing for level eight in 2007.

Anneke placed third all-around at the Crystal Cup. She finished second all-around at the Golden State Classic. She won floor at the AOGC Invitational. She did not compete the rest of the season. In 2008, Anneke finished first on beam and the all-around at the AOGC Invitational. She won floor at the Golden State Classic. At the State Championships, she placed third all-around. Anneke finished third on floor at Regionals.

She moved up to level nine for the 2009 season. She finished fourth all-around at the Twistars Invitational and Lady Luck Invitational. Anneke placed third on vault and floor at the Lady Luck Invitational. She placed second on vault at the WOGA Classic and third on floor at the Long Beach Open. She won vault at the Byers Invitational. At the State Championships, Anneke won vault. She also won vault at Regionals. She ended her season at Westerns.

Anneke continued competing level nine in 2010. She won vault at the Red Heart 10.0 Invitational. At the Maryland Classic, she placed second all-around. She finished third at both the Golden State Classic and Byers Invitational. She finished third on vault and floor at the State Championships. At Regionals, Anneke placed third all-around. She finished seventh at Westerns. She placed sixth on beam and fourth on floor. She moved up to level ten in 2011. She placed third on beam at the Byers Invitational. She finished third on floor at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished 13th all-around.
