Kaylee Meyers was born on January 4, 1992. She trained at Edge Gymnastics during her club career. Kaylee graduated from high school in 2010.

In 2005, Kaylee competed level nine. She won vault at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed second on beam. Kaylee continued competing level nine in 2006. She won vault at the GymQuarters Invitational. At the State Championships, she won beam. Kaylee placed third all-around at Regionals. She finished eighth at Westerns. She also placed sixth on beam and eighth on vault.

Kaylee began competing level ten in 2007. She qualified for Regionals. In 2008, she placed third on vault at the IGI Chicago Style. She finished sixth all-around at Regionals. She ended her season at JO Nationals. Kaylee won vault at the 2009 Lady Luck Invitational. She finished second on vault and floor at the California Classic. Unfortunately, Kaylee tore her acl on her beam dismount. She returned in 2010. Kaylee finished second on beam and floor at the Denver Winterfest. She placed second on floor at the Wine Country Classic. At the Missouri Winter Games, she placed third all-around. She won beam at the Tim Rand Invitational. Kaylee placed third all-around at Regionals. At JO Nationals, she finished sixth on beam and 14th all-around. Following the meet, Kaylee received a full scholarship to Eastern Michigan University.
