Jessica Khoshnood was born in Bellevue, Washington on August 6, 1988. She is the daughter of Kathi and Mohammad. She has two sisters, January and Jennifer. Jessica began gymnastics at the age of two. She competed for Northwest Aerials until 2001. Jessica then began competing for Auburn Gymnastics Center. In 2003, she began training at Gymnastics East. Jessica is now at San Jose State University.
In 2000, Jessica competed as a level eight. She moved up to level nine in 2001. Jessica won the Rainier Cup. With Auburn Gymnastics, she continued competing as a level nine in 2002. Jessica won vault at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished first all-around! She also won bars and beam. Her final meet of the season was the level nine Western Championship. She finished second all-around! Jessica was also second on floor. She only competed one meet in 2003.
Jessica began to compete as a level ten in 2004. She won the Washington Level 8 State Championships. At the JO National Championships, she finished eleventh all-around. Jessica did not compete in 2005. She returned at the end of 2005 for the 2006 season. She won the Gymnastics in Paradise Competition. Jessica finished second at the Blooms and Blossoms and IGI Chicago Style. She then swept the gold medals at States. At Regionals, Jessica finished first in the all-around, bars and beam! At the JO National Championships, she finished seventh all-around!
As a freshman at San Jose State, she competed on all four events. She competed in the all-around once. As a sophomore, she competed on bars in all thirteen meets. During her junior season, she competed on bars twelve times. She competed on beam once at the WAC Championships. She hit nine for nine floor routines.
