Annamarisa Koch was born on January 15, 1999. She trained at Texas Dreams Gymnastics until 2006. She then moved to WOGA. She will graduate from high school in 2017.

In 2007, Annamarisa competed level five. She won bars and beam at the District Championships. She finished third all-around. At the North State Championships, she finished second all-around. Annamarisa moved up to level six in 2008. She finished second on floor at the Rising Stars Invitational. She won bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the Fall Fiesta. Annamarisa finished third all-around at the North State Championships. She finished fourth all-around at the State Championships.

Annamarisa competed one level seven meet in 2008. She easily took first on bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the Texas Prime meet. She then moved up to level eight. She finished fifth all-around at both the Metroplex Challenge and Houston National Invitational. Annamarisa placed in the top ten at the WOGA Classic and Houston National Invitational. At the State Championships, she finished 20th all-around. She placed tenth all-around at Regionals.
