Daryl Konsevick was born on October 16, 1989. She is the daughter of June and Michael Konsevick. She has a brother named Rory. Daryl began gymnastics in 1995. She trained at Sunburst in New Jersey. She trained at Galaxy in New York for the last several years of her club career. She was coached by Jamie Winkler, Sergei and Galina Petrouniak. She earned a full scholarship to Penn State.
In 1999, she competed as a level five. She finished first on bars at States. By 2002, she was a level nine. Daryl placed third all-around at Easterns. Daryl moved up to level ten in 2003. She qualified for JO Nationals. In 2004, she finished first on beam and floor at Regionals. At JO Nationals, she placed in the top ten all-around! She won beam. After the level ten season, Daryl qualified to junior pre-elite. She competed at the US Challenge. She attended a training camp in the fall.
Daryl returned to level ten for the 2005 season. She finished seventh all-around at JO Nationals! She won floor and finished second on beam. In 2006, Daryl won a silver medal at the Buckeye Classic. At Regionals, she won the all-around, beam, and floor titles. She finished sixth all-around at JO Nationals. Daryl won a silver medal in the all-around at the Buckeye Clasic and Go For It Classic in 2007. She also finished second at Regionals. Daryl competed at JO Nationals. She finished second on bars and eighth on floor. In 2008, she won the state bars and beam titles. She won floor at Regionals. At JO Nationals, she won beam. She finished third all-around, earning a spot on the JO National Team.
As a freshman at Penn State, Daryl competed on floor seven times.
