Allison Korbel was born on December 10, 1996. She trained at Gleason's Maple Grove through the 2008 season. She then moved to Twin City Twisters. Allison will graduate from high school in 2015.

In 2007, Allison competed level seven. She competed at the State Championships. Allison moved up to level eight in 2008. She continued competing level eight in 2009. She finished in the top ten at the Rising Stars Invitational. She placed third on vault and fourth all-around at the Northern Lights Invitational. Allison finished fourth on vault at the IGI Chicago Style. At the State Championships, she placed third on floor.

Allison continued competing level eight in 2010. She finished fourth on floor at the Gopher Women's Invitational. She placed second on vault at the IGI Chicago Style. At the Northern Lights Invitational, she won vault and finished second all-around. Allison won the all-around at the Rising Stars Invitational. At the State Championships, she placed third on vault. Allison opened the 2010-2011 season at the Peppermint Twist as a level nine. She finished first on vault and second all-around.
