Jaclyn Kramer was born on August 11, 1988. She is the daughter of Fred and Arlene Kramer. She has a brother, Scott. Jaclyn trained at Gold Medal Gymnastics Center in New York.
In 2003, she competed as a level nine. She won the Capitol Cup and Balloon Classic. Jaclyn finished third all-around at Regionals. She competed at Eastern Nationals. In 2004, she moved up to level ten. She finished second all-around at the Presidential Classic. At Regionals, she finished fourth all-around. Jaclyn qualified to JO Nationals. In 2005, she finished fifth on floor at Regionals. In her senior season, she qualified to JO Nationals again.
Jaclyn began attending the University of Michigan in the fall of 2005. She competed on floor throughout the season. She also competed on beam. She won beam against Missouri. She did not competed in 2008. In 2009, she was an Academic All-Big Ten honoree. She earned her third U-M Athletic Academic Achievement Award. She competed on floor throughout the season. She also did vault and beam at some meets.
