Kelsey Kreider was born on September 6, 1994. She began competing for Lehigh Valley Gymnastics in 2002. She switched to Parkettes before the 2006 season. In 2004, she qualified for the National TOP "B" Team. In 2005, she made the "A" Team. Kelsey is currently a level ten.
In 2002, Kelsey competed as a level five. She finished second all-around at the State Championships. She was also second on vault, beam and floor. She moved up to level six in 2003. Kelsey finished second at the Friendship Classic. She placed fourth all-around at the State Championships. She was third on beam.
She moved up to level seven in 2004. She finished third all-around at Sectionals. She won two silvers, one on bars and the other on floor. At States, Kelsey placed third all-around. She finished second on vault, bars and floor. In 2005, she moved up to level eight. She competed at States. Kelsey moved up to level nine in 2006. She competed at Regionals. In the summer, she qualified to hopes pre-elite. She competed at the US Challenge. In 2007, she competed at the Brestyan Invitational as a level ten. She won a bronze medal on beam at States. She finished fourth all-around at the Fiesta Bowl Invitational in 2008. Kelsey struggled with injuries both years.
She returned to full health in 2009. She started her year off by winning bars at the Brestyan Invitational. She also won bars and finished third all-around at the Maryland Classic. Her next meet was the Parkette Invitational. She then traveled to Arizona for the Fiesta Bowl Invitational. Kelsey won bars and finished fourth all-around. At the State Championships, she won bars! She finished third all-around. At Regionals, she won bars. She finished seventh all-around. She ended her season at JO Nationals. She won a bronze medal on bars! In 2010, Kelsey finished first on bars at the Maryland Classic. She also won bars at the Excalibur Cup. At the State Championships, she placed third all-around. Kelsey finished sixth all-around at Regionals. She competed at JO Nationals. In 2011, Kelsey finished second on beam at the Excalibur Cup. She finished ninth all-around at Regionals. She competed at the JO National Invitational Tournament.
