Allison Krikorian was born on December 23, 1990. She trained at Gym-Max Gymnastics for the majority of her club career. She trained the last ten months at Wildfire Gymnastics. Allison graduated from high school in 2009.
In 2004, Allison finished third on vault and beam at the Level 9 State Championships. She moved up to level ten in 2005. She finished third on vault at the State Championships. She placed second on floor at Regionals. In 2006, Allison finished fourth all-around at the San Diego Classic. She also finished fourth all-around at the State Championships. She placed in the top twenty at Regionals. Allison won vault and floor at the 2007 Surf City Classic. She won beam and floor at the State Championships. Allison won vault at Regionals.
Allison won vault and floor at the 2008 National Judges Cup. She won vault at the State Championships. She finished first on vault and fourth all-around at Regionals. At JO Nationals, Allison placed fourth on vault and beam. She finished 23rd all-around. In 2009, Allison won vault and beam at the Surf City Classic. She won vault and floor at the Long Beach Open. As a freshman at Maryland, she competed on vault in all 13 meets and on floor in seven meets. She tied Maryland's top vault score in her second collegiate meet. She finished third on vault at the NCAA Regional Championships. Allison earned her a spot on the All-EAGL First-Team for vault. She was also named EAGL Rookie of the Week three times and Rookie of the Year for her team.
