Allison Kunz was born on February 25, 1997. She trained at Splitz Gymnastics until the spring of 2007. She then moved to Michigan Elite Gymnastics Academy (MEGA). She began training at Euro Stars in the fall of 2010. Allison will graduate from high school in 2015.
In 2006, Allison competed level five. She finished third all-around and second on vault at the IGI Chicago Style. She moved up to level six in 2007. She won beam at the IGI Chicago Style. Allison qualified for the National TOPs Team in the fall. In January of 2008, Allison won the all-around as a level seven at the Twistars Invitational. She then began competing level eight. She finished third on bars at the IGI Chicago Style. She made the National TOPs "B" Team in the fall. In 2009, Allison finished second all-around at the Twistars Invitational as a level eight.
She moved up to level nine for the rest of the season. She finished fourth all-around at the State Championships. Allison placed fifth all-around at Regionals. She ended her season at Easterns. She continued competing level nine in 2010. She won vault at the Sand Dollar Invitational. At the IGI Chicago Style, she placed second all-around. She finished fifth all-around at the State Championships. Allison placed third on beam at Regionals.
