Kim Wilson was born on May 11, 1993. Kim trained at Infinity through the 2006 season. She then moved to Gedderts' Twistars USA. She will graduate from high school in 2011.

In 2005, Kim competed level six. She moved up to level eight in 2007. She finished fourth on vault at the Motown Madness meet. She competed at Regionals. In 2008, Kim finished third all-around at the Twistars Invitational. Kim qualified to Regionals. She continued competing level eight in 2009. She won bars at the Battle of Championships. She began competing level nine in 2010. Kim finished second all-around at the Battle of Champions. She won bars at the San Diego Classic. She placed second on bars and fifth all-around at Regionals. At Easterns, Kim finished fourth on bars.

Kim continued competing level nine in 2011. She won bars, beam and the all-around at the Twistars Invitational. She finished second on bars at the Tampa Bay Turners Invitational. She won bars at the UGA Classic. Kim placed fourth all-around at the WOGA Classic. She finished third on vault at the Arena Classic. At the State Championships, she placed first on bars and second all-around. Kim won the all-around title at Regionals. At Easterns, she placed first on bars.
