Kayla Wofford was born on August 26, 1997. She trained at Let It Shine Gymnastics. She moved to Texas Dreams in the summer of 2010. She will graduate from high school in 2015.

In 2006, Kayla competed level four. She competed at the State Championships. She competed level six in 2007. She finished 15th all-around at the State Championships. Kayla competed level seven in 2009. She finished first on beam at the Flip Fest Invitational. She placed third on beam at the Circle of Stars meet. At the State Championships, she finished third on beam. She placed third on floor at the Region 8 Invitational. She competed level eight in 2010. She finished second on vault at the Smokey Mountain Vacation Classic. At the State Championships, she finished tenth all-around. She placed third on floor at Regionals.

Kayla competed level nine in 2011. She won beam at the Texas Prime meet. At the WOGA Classic, she won bars. She finished fourth all-around at the Purple and Gold meet. She finished fourth on bars at the State Championships. She competed at Regionals.
