Alanna Laecca was born on December 22, 1990. She is the daughter of Donna and Richie Laecca. She trained at Zero Gravity until the 2005 season. She then began competing for Gymnastics Revolution.
In 2004, she competed as a level five. She won States. She then moved up to level six. At the Spring State CHampionships, she won the uneven bars title. Alanna moved up to level seven in 2005. She finished fourth all-around at the I Love NY Cup. She won the Brestyan Invitational.
Alanna moved up to level eight in 2006. She won a bronze medal in the all-around at the Winter Sun Invitational. She then won the I Love NY Cup. She finished second all-around at the Aquafina Team Challenge. At States, Alanna won the all-around title. She won every event except for bars. She ended her season at Regionals. Alanna placed fourth all-around and first on bars.
She competed as a level nine in 2007. Alanna placed third all-around and first on beam at the I Love NY Cup. She then finished fourth all-around at Regionals. She won beam. At Easterns, the highest meet a level nine can attend, Alanna won beam! During her senior season in 2008, she competed as a level nine. She won the State CHampionships ad Regional Championships. She competed at the Eastern Championships for the second time.
As a freshman, Alanna competed on beam for Southern Connecticut.
