Jennie Laeng was born on June 2, 1995. She trains at Olympic Dreams in Ohio. She will graduate from high school in 2014.
In 2003, Jennie made the National TOPs Diamond Team. She competed level seven in 2005. She won vault at the Buckeye Classic. Jennie moved up to level eight in 2006. She finished second all-around at the State Championships. She placed third on beam at Regionals. Jennie moved up to level nine in 2007. She finished in the top ten at the State Championships. In 2008, she placed second on floor at the CGA Coaches Spectacular. She placed third on bars, fifth on beam, eighth on floor and third all-around at Easterns.
Jennie began competing level ten in 2009. She finished second on bars at Regionals. At the JO National Invitational Tournament, she placed second on bars and seventh all-around. In 2010, Jennie finished sixth all-around at the State Championships. She finished eleventh all-around at Regionals. She competed at the JO national Invitational Tournament. In 2011, Jennie placed second on beam at the Metroplex Challenge. She won bars at the Rock-n-Roll Classic. She won vault and floor at the Arena Classic. She competed at the Nastia Liukin Cup. At the State Championships, she placed second all-around. Jennie won vault at Regionals. She finished first on vault, beam and the all-around at the JO national Invitational Tournament.
