Bethany Larimer was born on August 12, 1991. She trained at Richardson Gymnastics through the 2007 season. She then moved to Sky High. She graduated from high school in 2009.

In 2003, Bethany competed level nine. She competed at Regionals. Bethany competed level ten in 2005. She finished 20th all-around at JO Nationals. In 2006, she placed third all-around at the State Championships. She finished second on vault and bars at Regionals. She did not compete on floor at JO Nationals. In 2007, Bethany finished tenth on bars at JO Nationals.

Bethany did not compete in 2008 due to an injury. She returned in 2009. Bethany finished second on vault at Regionals. She competed at JO Nationals. She began attending University of Kentucky in the fall. After one semester, she returned home and registered at community college. Bethany joined the TWU Gymnastics Team for the 2011 season.
