Larson Lasek was born on June 26, 1992. She trained at Richmond Olympiad Gymnastics during her club career. She graduated from high school in 2010.

In 2004, Larson competed level eight. She placed third on beam and fifth all-around at the State Championships. She competed at Regionals. Larson moved up to level nine in 2005. She won vault, beam, floor and the all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished sixth all-around. Larson placed ninth on bars and ninth all-around at Easterns. She began competing level ten in 2006. She finished third all-around at the State Championships. She placed sixth on floor at Regionals.

Larson continued competing level ten in 2007. She finished second all-around at the State Championships. She competed at Regionals. In 2008, Larson placed second all-around at the State Championships. She finished in the top twenty at Regionals. Larson finished second all-around at the 2009 Capital Cup. She won beam at the State Championships. She placed second all-around. At Regionals, she finished in the top fifteen. Larson finished fifth all-around at the JO National Invitational Tournament. In 2010, Larson placed first on beam at the Sportsplex Team Classic. She finished third on vault and bars at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished seventh all-around. Larson finished 16th all-around at JO Nationals. She did not compete as a freshman at William & Mary in 2011.
