Jenny Lash was born on February 3, 1995. Her younger sister, Erin, is also a gymnast. Jenny trained at Diamond Gymnastics through the 2007 season. She then moved to First State Gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2013.

In 2007, Jenny competed level five. She won bars and floor at the Friendship Classic. She moved up to level seven for the 2006-2007 season. In 2008, Jenny competed level eight. She finished second on bars at the Friendship Classic. She qualified for Regionals after finishing second all-around at the State Championships. In December, she won vault at the Christmas on the Chesapeake meet. Jenny finished third all-around at the 2009 Maryland Classic. She again competed at Regionals.

Jenny began competing level nine in 2010. She won bars at the Star Struck Invitational. At the East Coast Classic, she finished first on vault and second all-around. Jenny also competed at the Excalibur Cup and Capital Cup.
