Lauren Beers was born on April 1, 1994. She began gymnastics at Owego Scamps Gymnastics. In the fall of 2003, she switched to Southern Tier Gymnastics Academy.

Lauren competed level five in 2003. She won the Dare to Be Great Invite and I Love NY Cup. In the fall, she competed level seven at the Pinky Stone Invitational. She placed third all-around. Lauren then moved up to level eight. At Regionals, she finished eleventh all-around! In the fall of 2004, she competed as a level ten at the Pinky Stone Invitational. At the Regional Championships, she qualified for the JO National Championships! Lauren continued competing as a level ten in 2006. She placed second all-around at Regionals. She competed at her second JO National Championships. She continued competing as a level ten in 2007. She finished fourth all-around at Regionals. She competed at her third JO National Championships.

Besides the JO program, Lauren has tested with the elite program. In 2003, she was a National Top "B" Team Member. She made the A Team in 2004. Lauren competed at the US Challenge as a TOPS elite in 2005. She also made the National TOP Team. In 2006, she competed as a hopes elite at the US Challenge. She finished in the top ten! In 2007, Lauren competed as a junior pre-elite at the US Challenge.

In 2008, Lauren began with a few open invitationals, such as the I Love NY Cup and Niagara Cup, which she won. She placed third in the all-around and on beam and second on bars at the Level 10 State Championships. That competition set her up for an easy all-around win at Regionals. Lauren finished fourth in the all-around and tied for second place on floor exercise at the JO Nationals. When the month of May came by, Lauren was competing almost every weekend. On the first week of May, Lauren and teammate Megan Walker went to Texas for the May National Elite Qualifier at the Texas Dreams Gymnastics. Her performance qualified Lauren to her very first National Championships! Lauren traveled to Houston, Texas for the US Classic, where she placed 11th on uneven bars and finished 21st in the all-around. Then, it was off to Lauren's first National Championships in Boston, MA. While Lauren was at National Championships, Lauren had severs in her heel and landed short on a full-in during one of her practices. She had to scratch all events but uneven bars on the first day of competition. On the second day of competition, Lauren competed on all events except for floor exercise.

Lauren began 2009 by finishing second all-around at the Parkettes Invitational. She won floor. At the I Love NY Cup, she won the all-around. She re-qualified to junior international elite at the Excalibur Cup. She had the second highest score. She won bars and floor. She improved upon this performance at the Palm Beach Classic. Under elite scoring, Lauren won the Friendship Classic. She won vault and floor as well as the all-around. In early April, she finished in the top ten on vault at the American Classic. Lauren ended her season at the US Classic.

At the beginning of 2010 season, Lauren won all-around titles at seven different competitions. She qualified to senior international elite at the Buckeye Elite Qualifier after winning the all-around title. At the Buckeye Classic as a level 10 gymnast, she won the all-around title and qualified to the Nastia Liukin Supergirl Cup. At the Supergirl Cup, she only competed on uneven bars due to a minor injury and finished sixth on uneven bars. Lauren then traveled to Florida for another elite qualifier and won another all-around title. There, she qualified to the VISA Championships in Hartford, CT. At the US Classic in Chicago, IL, she finished 12th in the all-around and eighth on vault. At the US Nationals, she placed 15th overall as well as ninth on floor exercise.

Lauren started her 2012 season at the Maryland Classic, finishing first on vault, uneven bars, floor exercise and in the all-around. At the Parkettes Invitational, she placed first on vault, balance beam, floor exercise and in the all-around. Lauren traveled to Texas for the Metroplex Challenge, finishing ifrst in the all-around. At the I Love NY Cup, she finished first on vault, balance beam, floor exercise and in the all-around. She qualified to the Nastia Liukin Supergirl Cup in New York City where she placed fourth on vault, floor exercise and in the all-around. At the Heartland Classic, she earned gold medals on uneven bars, floor exercise and in the all-around. She had a great meet at the State Championships, finishing first on uneven bars, floor exercise and in the all-around with a 38.475. At the Level 10 Regionals, she earned gold medals on vault, uneven bars, balance beam and in the all-around. This qualified Lauren to the JO Nationals in Hampton where she finished second in the all-around as well as first on uneven bars and floor exercise.
