Lyndsey Dickson was born on September 9, 1993. She trained at High Point Gymnastics in North Carolina through the 2004 season. She then moved to Prestige Gymnastics in Pennsylvania. She will graduate from high school in 2011.

In 2001, Lyndsey competed level five. She competed level six in 2002. In 2003, she won bars and beam at the State Championships. She finished second all-around. In 2004, she placed third on bars at the Atlanta Crown Invitational and third on beam at the Charleston Cup. Lyndsey competed level nine in 2005. In 2006, she moved up to level ten. In 2008, Lyndsey finished second on vault at the Fiesta Bowl Invitational and Buckeye Classic. She won vault at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished in the top twenty. Lyndsey also competed in trampoline and tumbling with Outsiders of PA. She finished in the top fifteen at Nationals in level ten trampoline and level eight tumbling. She placed ninth on double mini.

Lyndsey continued competing level ten in 2009. She won vault at the Buckeye Classic. She finished third all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished eleventh all-around. Lyndsey won vault at the JO National Invitational Tournament. In 2010, she finished fourth all-around at the State Championships. She finished 15th all-around at Regionals. Lyndsey is also a successful springboard diver.
