Briana Ledesma was born on December 14, 1995. She trained at Olympia Gymnastics through the 2007 season. She then spent one year with Brown's Gymnastics San Antonio in 2008. She then moved to USA Aerial Athletics. She will graduate from high school in 2014.
In 2006, Briana competed level six. She competed at the South State Championships. She moved up to level seven in 2007. She continued competing level seven in 2008. She finished 20th all-around at the State Championships. In 2009, Briana won floor at the Kurt Thomas Invitational. She won vault at the Sand Dollar Invitational. At the Metroplex Challenge, she won bars, floor and the all-around. Briana won five gold medals at the Alamo Classic. At the South State Championships, she won floor and placed second all-around. Briana won bars, floor and the all-around titles at the State Championships.
Briana competed level eight in 2010. She won vault, bars and floor at the Ricky Deci Invitational. Briana won bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the Texas Prime Meet. She won vault and the all-around at the Fiesta Bowl Invitational. Briana finished first on vault, bars and the all-around at the WOGA Classic. At the State Championships, she placed first on bars and floor. She finished second all-around. At Regionals, she won floor. She placed second on bars and fourth all-around. Briana moved up to level nine in 2011. She finished second on floor at the Tiger Classic. t the Metroplex Challenge, she placed second on vault and floor. Briana placed second on floor at the Pikes Peak Cup. At the Houston National Invitational, she won vault and the all-around. Briana won bars, floor and the all-around at the Alamo Classic. She competed in the Fiesta Jam event finals where she placed fourth on bars and first on floor. She finished second on bars and floor at the State Championships. She finished seventh all-around. At Regionals, she won floor. She placed fifth on vault, fourth on bars and seventh all-around. Briana finished eighth all-around at Westerns. She also placed ninth on bars and seventh on floor.
