Erin Lewallen was born on August 24, 1993. She trained at Houston Gymnastics Center until the summer of 2011. She then moved to Champion Gymnastics Academy. She will graduate from high school in 2012.

In 2006, Erin competed level eight. She won vault and beam at the Svetlana Invitational. She finished second all-around. She moved up to level nine in 2007. She won vault and beam at the Statewide Qualifier. In 2008, Erin continued competing level nine. She finished in the top twenty at the State Championships. At Regionals, she won vault. Erin placed second on vault, seventh on beam and fourth all-around at Westerns.

Erin began competing level ten in 2009. She finished seventh all-around at the State Championships. She placed third on bars at Regionals. She competed at JO Nationals. In 2010, Erin finished third on bars at the Ricky Deci Invitational. She also placed third on bars at the Texas Prime meet. She competed at the State Qualifier. At the WOGA Classic, she finished third all-around. She competed on bars at the JO National Invitational Tournament. In 2011, Erin competed on vault and bars at the WOGA Classic.
