Amanda Lievendag was born on May 31, 1993. She trains at Harford Gymnastics in Maryland. She will graduate from high school in 2011.
In 2002, Amanda finished sixth all-around at the Level 4 State Championships. She moved up to level five in 2003, finishing third at the State Championships. She placed fifth on beam at teh 2004 Level 6 State Championships. Amanda placed fourth all-around in 2005 as a level seven at the Capital Cup. She won bars and placed second all-around at the 2006 State Championships. She competed level eight in 2007. Amanda finished first on bars at the Capital Cup. She won beam and finished second at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed in the top ten.
Amanda competed level nine in 2008. She won beam at the State Championships. She finished in the top ten at Regionals. She ended her season at Easterns. In 2009, Amanda began competing level ten. She finished third at the Unique Classic and second at the Frederick Classic. She competed at both the State and Regional Championships. In 2010, Amanda won bars at the Nittany Invitational and beam at the Sweetheart meet. She finished third at the Pink Invitational and second at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed second on floor. She ended her season at JO Nationals.
