Leah Lomonte was born on March 13, 1995. She trains at Champion Gymnastics in Katy, Texas. She will graduate from high school in 2013.
In 2004, Leah competed level seven. She finished second on bars at the South State Championships. She placed in the top ten all-around at the State Championships. Leah moved up to level eight in 2005. She finished third on vault at Regionals. Leah competed level nine in 2006. She finished third on vault and beam at the Kurt Thomas Invitational. She competed at both the State and Regional Championships. She began competing level ten in 2007. She only competed on bars at Regionals.
Leah missed the 2008 season. She returned in 2009, placing second on beam at the Rose City Classic. She finished fourth on floor at the State Championships. She had a strong finish at Regionals. In 2010, Leah finished second on bars at the AOGC Invitational and first on beam at the Svetlana Invitational. She placed eleventh all-around at both the State and Regional Championships. At the JO National Invitational Tournament, she won vault and placed second on bars. She finished sixth all-around. In 2011, Leah finished third all-around at both the Ricky Deci Invitational and IGI Chicago Style. She placed second on bars at the Alamo Classic. Leah won floor at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished fifth all-around. She competed at JO Nationals.
