Lauren Ramirez was born on January 28, 1999. She trains at Gold Medal Gymnastics in Arizona.

In the fall of 2006, Lauren competed level five. She won vault at the School Days Invitational. She placed second on bars at the PGA Invitational. At the Fall Round Up, she won vault. She competed at the State Championships. She continued competing level five in the spring of 2007. She finished first all-around at the Flagstaff Winter Classic. She placed fifth all-around at the State Championships. She competed level six in the fall. She finished in the top ten at the State Championships. Lauren immediately began competing level seven in 2008. She finished eleventh all-around at the State Championships.

Lauren continued competing level seven in 2009. She finished first on floor at the Mardi Gras Challenge. She placed third all-around at both the Hardrock Invitational and Jessica Kleya Memorial Invitational. She finished seventh all-around at the State Championships. She made the National TOPs "B" Team in the fall. In 2010, Lauren won vault and the all-around at the Lady Luck Invitational. She finished second all-around at the Mardi Gras Challenge. She placed first on vault, floor and the all-around at the Fiesta Bowl Invitational. She won all five gold medals at the Classic Rock Invitational. At the Kim Bird Invitational, she won vault, beam, floor and the all-around. Lauren finished first on vault, floor and the all-around at the Derby Classic. At the State Championships, she won vault, beam, floor and the all-around. Lauren won vault at Regionals. She made the National TOPs Team in the fall.

Lauren moved up to level nine for the 2011 season. She won vault at both the Arizona Grand Invitational and Pikes Peak Cup. At the Classic Rock Invitational, she placed first on vault, bars, floor and the all-around. She finished second all-around at the California Classic. At the Jessica Kleya Invite, she won vault, beam and the all-around. She placed first on vault, beam and the all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished third all-around. She won vault at Westerns! She also placed tenth on bars, fifth on floor and second all-around.
