Lauren Ross was born on December 13, 1993. She trained at Wininger's Gymnastics through the 2008 season. She then spent one year with Connecticut Gymnastics Academy. Lauren began training at Tim Daggett's Gymnastics before the 2010 season. She will graduate from high school in 2011.

In 2004, Lauren placed third at the Level 6 State Championships. She competed level eight in 2006. She won beam and finished second all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished in the top ten. Lauren swept the gold medals at the 2007 Northeast Invite. She won floor at the State Championships. She won the all-around title at Regionals! She began competing level nine in 2008. She won floor at the Northeast Invite. She competed at Regionals.

Lauren continued competing level nine in 2009. She won vault at the Team Challenge. She finished second at the Starlight Invitational. She won vault, bars, beam and the all-around at Regionals. At Easterns, Lauren won vault and placed second all-around. She competed level ten in 2010. She finished second at the Starlight Invitational. Lauren placed in the top ten at the State and Regional Championships. She competed at JO Nationals.
