Maggie Lundeen was born on July 16, 1993. She trained at St. Charles Gymnastics through the 2006 season. She then moved to Palmer's Gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2011.
In 2004, Maggie competed level eight. She won five gold medals at the Vegas Vacation meet. She also swept the gold medals at Regionals. She moved up to level nine in 2005. She finished fourth all-around and second on floor at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed third on floor. She continued competing level nine in 2006. Maggie finished first on vault and second all-around at the IGI Chicago Style.
Maggie missed the 2007 season because of an injury. She was limited to uneven bars in 2008. She finished third on bars at the IGI Chicago Style as a level ten. In 2009, Maggie won floor at the Sand Dollar Invitational. She placed second on floor at the IGI Chicago Style. At Regionals, she finished tenth all-around. At the JO National Invitational Tournament, she placed first on floor, third on beam and sixth all-around!
She had a strong 2010 season. Maggie won beam and floor at the Crossroads Classic. She finished third at the Wisconsin Dells Vacation Classic. At the IGI Chicago Style, she won bars. Maggie won bars and the all-around at the Circle of Stars meet. She competed at the Nastia Liukin Cup based on this victory. At the State Championships, she won floor and placed ninth all-around. Maggie finished third on floor and seventh all-around at Regionals. She ended her season at JO Nationals, placing sixth on floor and 25th all-around.
