Leah Wilson was born on April 4, 1992 to John and Kathleen. She began gymnastics in 1995. She trained at Orlando Metro during her club career.
In 2003, she competed level seven. She won beam at the Daytona Beach Open. She moved up to level eight in 2004. She won the all-around at the State Championships. In 2005, Leah competed level nine. She finished second on bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed in the top twenty. She continued competing level nine in 2006. She finished fourth on floor at the Pikes Peak Cup.
Leah competed level ten in 2008. She placed third on bars at the Atlanta Crown Invitational. She won bars at the Sand Dollar Invitational. At the Hard Rock Invitational, she won beam. Leah placed third on beam, second on bars and seventh all-around at Regionals. She qualified for JO Nationals. She continued having strong results in 2009. She won beam at the Sand Dollar Invitational. Leah placed second on bars and beam at the Palm Beach Invitational. At the Regional Championships, she placed fourth all-around and second on beam. Leah ended her season at JO Nationals.
She ended her club career in 2010. She placed second all-around and first on beam at the Tampa Bay Turner's Invitational. At the Sand Dollar Invitational, she finished fifth all-around. Leah placed third on beam and floor at the Daytona Beach Open. At the IGI Chicago Style, she finished second on bars. She also placed second on beam at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished fourth on beam.
