Erin Macadaeg was born on June 23, 1996. She trains at San Mateo Gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2014.
In the fall of 2006, Erin competed level four. She finished first all-around at the High-Team Invitational. She placed second all-around at the Meet By the Bay. Erin won the all-around title at the Red Line 500. At the State Championships, she placed first on vault, beam, floor and the all-around. Erin moved up to level five for two meets in 2007. She won the all-around titles at the Gold Country Classic and Judges Cup. She finished the season as a level six. She placed first all-around at the Aloha Gymfest, Red Line 500, Sock Hop and Teddy Bear Classic. At the Zone Championships, she won the all-around title. Erin also won the all-around title at the State Championships.
Erin competed one level seven meet in December of 2008. She then moved up to level eight for the 2009 season. Erin finished first all-around at the Wine Country Classic, Winter Invitational and Spirit of the Flame Challenge. She finished second all-around at the Byers Invitational. At the State Championships, she won vault, bars, beam and the all-around. She placed third all-around at Regionals. In 2010, Erin finished first all-around at the Delta Classic. She placed second all-around at the Wine Country Classic. Erin won the all-around titles at both the Winter Invitational and Spirit of the Flame Challenge. At the State Championships, she won vault, beam, floor and the all-around. Erin won vault and bars at Regionals. She qualified to Westerns but did not compete.
She began competing level ten in 2011. She finished first on vault and bars at the National Gymnastics Festival. Erin won vault at the Black Tie Invitational. At the State Championships, she placed first on vault and third all-around.
