Josselyn Mackey was born on March 2, 1994. She trained at Xtreme until the 2006 season. She then spent three years at Eagles. She returned to Xtreme before the 2009 season. Josselyn will graduate from high school in 2012.

In 2004, Josselyn placed second on bars at the IGI Chicago Style as a level six. In 2005, Josselyn won beam and placed fifth all-around at the Level 7 State Championships. She moved up to level eight in 2006. She won beam at the GymQuarters Invitational. In 2007, Josselyn competed level nine. She finished second on bars and twelfth all-around at Regionals. At Westerns, she placed fourth on bars and 29th all-around. She moved up to level ten in 2008. She finished first on beam and fourth all-around at Regionals. She ended her season at JO Nationals.

Josselyn continued competing level ten in 2009. She placed third on beam at the Sand Dollar Invitational. At Regionals, she placed third all-around. She ended her season at JO Nationals. In 2010, Josselyn won bars at the New Years Invitational. She placed third all-around at the Classic Rock Invitational and fourth at the Metroplex Challenge. At the State Championships, she won beam and the all-around. Josselyn placed fourth on beam at Regionals. At JO Nationals, she placed tenth on beam and twelfth all-around. In 2011, Josselyn finished fourth all-around at the Buckeye Classic. She won beam at the Gasparilla Classic. At the State Championships, she won vault, bars and the all-around. She finished seventh all-around at Regionals. Josselyn finished 26th all-around at JO Nationals. She placed sixth on beam.
