Leah Macmoyle was born on November 27, 1995. She trains at North Stars Gymnastics in Boonton, New Jersey. Leah will graduate from high school in 2014.

In 2004, Leah competed level five. In December, she finished third on bars at the Greater New Year Invitational as a level six. The next year, she placed sixth all-around as a level seven. Leah competed level eight in 2007. She won vault and the all-around at the Parkette Invitational. She finished fifth on vault at Regionals. Leah began competing level nine in 2008. She placed third on beam at the Parkette Invitational. She won beam at the State Championships. Leah finished 15th all-around at Regionals. She competed at Easterns.

Leah continued competing level nine in 2009. She won the all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished second on vault and the all-around. Leah placed fourth on floor and 11th all-around at Easterns. She moved up to level ten in 2010. She finished second on vault and floor at the Sand Dollar Invitational. At the State Championships, Leah placed third on beam and second on vault. She finished eighth at Regionals. At the JO National Invitational Tournament, Leah won floor! She finished fourth all-around.
