Mackenzie Douglas was born on January 22, 1996. She trains at Arizona Dynamics Gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2014.
In the fall of 2005, Mackenzie competed level four. She placed first on bars and third all-around at the PGA Invitational. At the State Championships, she won vault and bars. She finished third all-around. Mackenzie competed level five in the spring of 2006. She finished first on vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the Cactus Cooler Invitational. She moved up to level six in the fall. She won bars at the Stars and Stripes meet. She competed at the State Championships. In 2007, Mackenzie placed first on vault at the San Diego Classic. She won bars and placed third all-around at the Spring State Championships. In the fall, she won the all-around title at the State Championships.
Mackenzie competed level eight in 2008. She finished fourth all-around at the State Championships. She finished in the top twenty at Regionals. Mackenzie moved up to level nine in 2009. She finished fourth all-around at the Mardi Gras Challenge. She finished fifth all-around at the Spirit of the Flame Challenge. At the State Championships, she placed third all-around. Mackenzie finished in the top fifteen at Regionals. In 2010, Mackenzie finished first on vault at the Mardi Gras Challenge. She placed first on bars and second all-around at the Chinese New Year Celebration. At the State Championships, she placed third all-around. She finished second on bars and fifth all-around at Regionals. She competed at Westerns.
