Elizabeth Manzi was born on October 10, 1991. She trained at US Gymnastics Development Center through the 2005 season. She then moved to North Stars. Elizabeth graduated from high school in 2010.

In 2002, Elizabeth set the level six floor record at the State Championships. She moved up to level seven in 2003. She won bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the Vegas Vacation meet. Elizabeth set the all-around record at the State Championships. She competed level nine in 2004 and 2005. She qualified to Regionals. In 2006, Elizabeth finished second on vault at the Cactus Cooler as a level nine. She finished third all-around at Level 9 Easterns. She placed second on bars, seventh on floor and ninth on vault.

Elizabeth began competing level ten in 2007. She finished fifth at the State Championships. She struggled with injuries during the 2008 season. She did not compete in the all-around at Regionals. She returned in 2009 to place sixth at the State Championships. She finished second on beam and seventh all-around at Regionals. At JO Nationals, Elizabeth placed 16th all-around and first on beam! In 2010, she placed first on bars, floor and the all-around at the Sand Dollar Invitational. She placed second all-around at the Parkette Invitational. Elizabeth won floor at the Excalibur cup and beam and the all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed first on floor and third all-around. She finished 17th all-around at JO Nationals.
