Megan Marenghi was born on January 21, 1995. She trained at National Gymnastics Village in New Hampshire before moving to WOGA before the 2005 season. She moved to Zenith Elite in 2012. She will graduate in 2013.

In 2004, Megan competed level nine. She finished first on beam and seventh all-around at Regionals. She qualified for Easterns. Megan continued competing level nine in 2005. At Regionals, she won the all-around and beam. She finished second on floor and bars. Megan finished her season at Westerns, finishing fourth all-around, first on beam and first on floor! She moved up to level ten for the 2006 season. She placed second all-around at the WOGA Classic. At Regionals, she finished seventh all-around, qualifying for the JO National Championships. Megan finished twelfth all-around and third on bars at the age of eleven!

Megan missed two seasons after doctors discovered that she was severely knock-kneed. In 2007, she finished first on bars at the WOGA Classic. She won the all-around at the Metroplex Challenge. Megan returned with strong results in 2009. She finished third on bars and beam at the Byers Invitational. At States, she finished in the top fifteen. She greatly improved her all-around score at Regionals, to finish second. She won beam. Megan had a strong meet at JO Nationals.

In 2010, Megan finished third at the WOGA Classic. She won the Pikes Peak Cup, qualifying for the Nastia Liukin Cup where she placed tenth. At the Level 10 State Championships, Megan placed seventh overall and third on balance beam. She then won a silver medal in the all-around at the Level 10 Regional Championships. In addition, she also won four medals on all events, including a gold medal on balance beam. At the Junior Olympic Nationals in Dallas, Texas, Megan placed fourth in the all-around, second on uneven bars, first on balance beam and second on foor exercise. There, she made the Junior Olympic National Team!

In 2011, Megan started her season at the WOGA Classic where she won the uneven bars title. At the Houston National Invitational, she won the all-around title as well as first on uneven bars and balance beam. Megan placed second on uneven bars and third on balance beam, floor exercise and in the all-around at the Level 10 State Championships. At the Level 10 Regionals, she placed first on uneven bars, balance beam and in the all-around! She qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Long Beach, California where she earned a silver medal in the all-around. In addition, she placed sixth on uneven bars, fourth on balance beam and fifth on floor exercise.
