Annie Masenheimer was born on June 30, 1995. She trains at Parkettes.

In 2004, Annie competed as a level five. She qualified for the State Championships. She moved up to level six in 2005. She finished seventh all-around at States. She repeated level six in 2006. Annie won a silver medal on beam at the Katie Baldwin Invitational. At the State Championships, she placed fifth on beam. Annie moved up to level seven in 2007. She made the Pennsylvania State Team that competed at the National Judges Cup. At the Fiesta Bowl Invitational, she placed second on vault and floor. She won beam and the all-around. She won beam and floor at the Maryland Classic.

By the end of 2007, Annie was competing level nine. She finished fifth on floor at the Greater NY Invitational. In 2008, she won bars and placed second all-around at the Christmas on the Chesapeake meet. She continued level nine through 2009. She finished third on vault and bars at the Brestyan's Invitational where she also placed second all-around. Annie won bronze medals on beam at the Maryland classic, Parkette Invitational and Pink Invitational. She finished second on beam at the Fiesta Bowl Invitational. At States, Annie won the balance beam and all-around titles. She continued to have strong results at Regionals where she won bars and finished second all-around. Annie finished in the top fifteen all-around at Easterns. She also won a bronze medal on floor. In late June, Annie qualified for junior pre-elite. She won a bronze medal on floor at the US Challenge.
