Alberta Massey was born on August 11, 1997. She trained at Girls Co-Op until 2008. Alberta now trains at North Stars Gymnastics in Boonton, New Jersey. Alberta will graduate from high school in 2015.
In 2006, Alberta competed level five. She finished tenth at the Parkette Invitational. She won bars and placed second all-around at Sectionals. She made the National TOPs Team. In 2007, she moved up to level seven. She finished third on floor at the Sand Dollar Invitational. She placed third on floor at the State Championships. In the fall, Alberta made her second National TOPs Team.
Alberta began competing level nine in 2009. She won floor at the Brestyan Invitational. She finished third on floor at the Parkette Invitational. Alberta competed at both State and Regionals. She continued competed level nine in 2010. She finished second on beam at the Parkette Invitational and second all-around at the Excalibur Cup. Alberta finished third all-around at the State Championships. She placed fourth at Regionals. At Easterns, Alberta finished third on beam and tenth all-around.
