Cassidy McAlpine was born on January 10, 2000. She trained at Funtastic through the summer of 2009. She then moved to WOGA. She will graduate from high school in 2018.
In 2008, Cassidy competed level seven. She had strong finishes at the National Judges Cup, IGI Chicago Style and Battle in Seattle. Cassidy moved up to level nine in 2009. She competed at the National Judges Cup with Team Idaho. At the Great West Gym Fest, she finished fourth all-around. Cassidy competed at Regionals. She continued competing level eight in 2010. She finished second on beam at the Metroplex Challenge. She placed third on bars at the WOGA Classic. At the Pikes Peak Cup, Cassidy finished third on floor. She won beam at the State Championships. At Regionals, Cassidy placed third on beam and sixth all-around.
Cassidy moved up to level nine in 2011. She finished first on beam at the IGI Chicago Style. At the Houston National Invitational, she won beam. Cassidy finished third on beam at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished twelfth all-around. Cassidy placed third on bars at Westerns. She finished 16th all-around.
