Madison McConkey was born on September 16, 1994. She trained at Solid Rock Gymnastics through the 2007 season. She then moved to Nebraska School of Gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2012.

In 2005, Madison competed level eight. She finished fourth on bars at Regionals. Madison moved up to level nine in 2006. She finished eleventh all-around at Regionals. She qualified to Regionals again in 2007. In 2008, she finished second all-around at the KC Co-Ed Invitational. She won vault, bars and the all-around at the Dragon Invitational. Madison finished first on bars at Regionals. She placed second all-around. At Westerns, she finished eleventh all-around.

Madison moved up to level ten in 2009. She won the all-around title at the Capital City Invitational. She ended her season at JO Nationals. In 2010, she won bars and floor at the Golden Invitational. At the State Championships, she won floor. She finished second on bars at Regionals. Madison competed at her second JO National Championships.
