Tess McCracken was born on January 27, 1998. Her sister Kyra is also a gymnast. They both train at WOGA. She will graduate from high school in 2016.
In 2005, Tess competed level four. She moved up to level five in 2006. She won bars and placed second all-around at the District Championships. At the North State meet, she finished second on beam, floor and in the all-around. Tess competed level six in 2007. She finished third all-around at the District Championships. At North States, she placed second on floor and in the all-around. She ended her season by placing second all-around at States.
She moved up to level seven for the 2008 season. She won a bronze medal on beam at the WOGA Classic. At the Yellow Rose Classic, she finished first on beam and in the all-around. Tess placed second on beam at the North State Championships. At States, she finished first on beam and third all-around. Tess competed level eight in 2009. She finished second all-around at the WOGA Classic. At the Great West Gymfest, she won vault and placed second all-around. In the Big Show finals she finished second on vault. She won beam at the Houston National Invitational. At the Rose City Classic, she finished second all-around. Tess won bars, beam and the all-around at States. At Regionals, she finished second on bars and in the all-around.
In 2010, Tess competed level nine. She won beam and floor at the Metroplex Challenge. Tess also earned her international elite compulsory score at this meet. At the WOGA Classic, she won bars and the all-around. Tess placed third all-around at the Pikes Peak Cup. At the Houston National Invitational, she finished second. She placed fourth at States. At Regionals, she won bars, beam, floor and the all-around. Tess won bars, floor and the all-around at Westerns!
