Mary Lynn Clark was born on November 9, 1994. She trains at Cardinal Gymnastics through the 2007 season. She trained at Marvateens for one year before moving to Apollo Gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2013.

In 2004, Mary Lynn competed level six. She moved up to level seven in 2005. She finished in the top fifteen all-around at the State Championships. Mary Lynn competed level eight in 2006. She won all five gold medals at the Aerials Invitational. At the Hard Rock Invitational, she finished fourth on beam. In 2007, she won beam at the Aerials Invitational. She finished in the top twenty all-around at the State Championships. In 2008, Mary Lynn won bars and the all-around at the State Championships. She finished fourth all-around at Regionals as a level eight. Mary Lynn began competing level nine in 2009. She finished third all-around at both the East Coast Classic and Rock n Roll Invitational. At the Frederick Classic, she placed second on vault and beam. She finished sixth all-around at the State Championships. Mary Lynn finished in the top fifteen at Regionals.

Mary Lynn continued competing level nine in 2010. She finished second all-around at the Maryland Classic. At the Parkette Invitational, she placed second on bars. She finished second on beam at the Magical Classic. At the Rock n Roll Invitational, she won beam. At the State Championships, she finished fourth all-around. Mary Lynn placed in the top fifteen at Regionals. In 2011, she finished second on bars at the Star Struck Invitational. SHe won vault and beam at the Excalibur Cup. At the Rock n Roll Invitational, she placed first on beam and second all-around. She finished first on beam and the all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished third on vault and beam. She placed fifth all-around. Mary Lynn placed third on vault, fifth on bars, fifth on beam and fourth all-around at Easterns.
