Elizabeth McNabb was born on June 13, 1991. She is the daughter of Brad and Julie. She will graduate from Cathedral High School in 2010. She competes for Deveau's School of Gymnastics with Tom Strange. Elizabeth reached the gold level of National TOPs Testing in 1999 with Acros Gymnastics. In 2003, she competed level nine. She competed at Regionals.
Her first year as a level ten was in 2004. She had a minor injury that hampered her at the beginning of the season. However, she did win the bronze on vault at the Regional Championships. She had a great 2005 year. Elizabeth started her season out by winning the American Twisters Invite and Hard Rock Invite. She then won the Indiana State Championships. Elizabeth continued her winning ways at Regionals. She also won three event titles beside the all-around title. At the JO National Championships, she finished sixth all-around!
After the level ten season, Elizabeth qualified for junior international elite. She placed 14th all-around at the US Classic, qualifying for the US National Championships. At Nationals, Elizabeth missed the national team by only two spots. In 2006, she won bars, floor and the all-around at the Fiesta Bowl Invitational. She qualified for elite Nationals but could not compete because of an injury. She returned to level ten following this injury.
Elizabeth returned to competition in 2008. She competed all-around at the San Diego Classic. She won! She also finished second on vault and floor. At the IGI Chicago Style, she finished second all-around. She finished third all-around at the Circle of Stars Invitational. She placed fourth at States. She ended her season at Regionals. Elizabeth had a great season in 2009. She competed beam only at the Brestyan's Invitational. At the Bravo Classic, she competed on bars. She competed both bars and beam at the Surf City Classic. She won bars. She won the all-around at the For Love or Money Meet. At the Midwest Open, she won bars, beam and the all-around with a 38.075! At Regionals, she placed third on bars and fifth all-around. She finished 13th all-around at JO Nationals. She placed second on bars. Elizabeth signed with the University of Illinois in November of 2009.
