McKenzie Coleman was born on December 7, 1997. She trains at Universal Gymnasts in Ohio. She will graduate from high school in 2016.
In 2009, McKenzie competed level nine. She finished third on beam at the CGA Coaches Spectacular. She won vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the Surf City Classic. At the For Love or Money meet, she won uneven bars. In 2010, McKenzie finished first on bars at the Universal Galaxy meet and Lady Luck Invitational. She won bars, beam and the all-around at the TOPS Super Challenge. McKenzie won bars and the all-around at the Queen City Classic. She placed first all-around at the Arnold Gymnastics Challenge. At the State Championships, she finished fourth all-around. McKenzie won bars at Regionals. She was the alternate for Easterns.
McKenzie continued competing level nine in 2011. he finished second on beam at the Universal Galaxy Invite, Tampa Bay Turners Invitational and Athlete Warrior Challenge. She placed first on beam and second all-around at the Buckeye Classic. She won bars and the all-around at the Girl Power Invitational. At the State Championships, she won bars, floor and the all-around. McKenzie placed third all-around at Regionals. She won bars at Easterns! She also placed fourth on beam, fifth on floor and fifth all-around. She moved up to level ten for the 2012 season. She placed second all-around at the Universal Galaxy meet.
