Diana Mejia was born on March 31, 1995. She trained at Naydenov Gymnastics through the 2009 season. She then moved to Multnomah Athletic Club (MAC). She will graduate from high school in 2013.

In 2005, Diana competed level eight. She finished in the top twenty at the State Championships. She qualified to Regionals. Diana moved up to level nine in 2006. She finished 15th at Regionals. In 2007, Diana placed third at the Lady Luck Invitational. She finished second at the Emerald Team Challenge. She won bars at the State Championships. At Regionals, Diana won bars and finished seventh all-around. She continued competing level nine in 2008. She won bars, floor and the all-around at the Gymnastics in Paradise meet. She won bars at the Battle in Seattle and vault at the Emerald Team Challenge. At the State Championships, she finished third on bars. She won vault, bars, and the all-around at Regionals. At Westerns, she won bars! She finished fifth on vault, eighth on vault and 13th all-around.

Diana began competing level ten in 2009. She won vault, bars and the all-around at the Great West Gym Fest. She only competed on bars at the State Championships, but won the event. At Regionals, she won beam and finished fifth all-around. Diana competed at JO Nationals. With her new gym in 2010, Diana won bars, beam and the all-around at the World Cup Invitational. She won bars and beam at the All-American Invitational. At the San Diego Classic, she won bars. Diana won bars and the all-around at the MAC Open. She also won bars at the Return of the Titans meet. She won bars, beam and the all-around at the Emerald Team Challenge. At Regionals, she won bars and finished second all-around. Diana won bars at JO Nationals.
