Maresa Epperson was born on June 6, 1996. She trained at Tumble Town through the fall of 2002. She then moved to The Gym for one season before training at Mount Shasta Gymnastics. She then began driving to Southern Oregon Gymnastics Academy. Maresa moved to Unlimited Sports Center after the 2008 season. She will graduate from high school in 2014.
In 2002, Maresa competed level four. She finished in the top ten at the Fall Festival. She moved up to level five in 2003. She finished third all-around at the Halloween Jamboree. She placed second all-around at the Fall Festival. At the Zone Championships, she placed in the top ten. Maresa qualified to the State Championships in 2004. She placed second on vault and fourth all-around. In 2007, Maresa competed level seven. She finished fourth on bars at the Emerald Team Challenge. Maresa moved up to level eight in 2008. She won floor at the Emerald Team Challenge. At the State Championships, she won all five gold medals. Maresa placed third all-around at Regionals.
Maresa moved up to level nine in 2009. She finished first on vault, floor and the all-around at the Emerald Team Challenge. She won vault, beam and the all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she won vault and floor. Maresa finished fifth on vault and first on floor at Westerns. In 2010, Maresa placed first all-around at the Classic Rock Invitational. She won the all-around at the Emerald Team Challenge. At Regionals, she won vault, beam, floor and the all-around. Maresa placed first on vault and fifth on floor at Westerns.
She began competing level ten in 2010. Maresa finished third all-around at the Flips Invitational. She placed second all-around at the MAC Open. At the Emerald Team Challenge, she finished third all-around. Maresa won vault and floor at the State Championships. She finished second all-around. She finished second all-around at Regionals. She competed at JO Nationals.
