Maureen Grady was born on March 5, 1992. She trained at Arena Gymnastics for eight years before moving to Virginia in 2007. She then trained at Richmond Olympiad Gymnastics. She graduated from high school in 2010.
In 2004, Maureen competed level eight. She moved up to level nine in 2005. In 2006, she finished fourth on bars and beam at the AOGC Invitational. She had a solid year in 2007. She won the all-around title at the Friendship Classic. At the State Championships, she finished second on floor and in the all-around. At Regionals, she won beam and finished fifth all-around. She ended her season at Easterns, placing 11th all-around.
She began competing level ten in 2008. She finished second on vault at the Excalibur Cup. She won beam at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished fifth on beam. She was the alternate for JO Nationals. In 2009, Maureen finished third on bars at the Maryland Classic. She placed third on floor at the Capital Cup. She finished third all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed sixth all-around and third on bars. She finished 23rd at JO Nationals. Maureen won bars at the 2010 Sportsflex Team Classic. At Regionals, she finished second on bars. She finished 16th all-around at JO Nationals.
