Carina Micheloni was born on February 14, 1992. She trained at Gold Medal Gymnastics Center in New York until 2005. She then moved to Orlando Metro Gymnastics where she trained until the conclusion of the 2008 season. After returning to New York, Carina began training at New Image Gymnastics. She returned to Orlando Metro in 2010. She will graduate from high school in 2012.

In late 2002, Carina began competing as a level five. She won vault at the Autumn Classic. At the Big Apple Classic, she won the all-around. Carina qualified for the 2003 Level 5 State Championships. In the late fall, she finished third on vault as a level six at the Greater NY Invite. She then moved up to level seven, winning vault at the Big Apple Classic. At the 2003 Level 7 Sectional meet, she finished second on vault.

With her new gym in 2006, Carina competed level nine. She finished fourth all-around at the Atlanta Crown Invitational. At the State Championships, she finished third on bars and floor. She finished fifth all-around. Carina placed fourth on bars at Regionals. She qualified for the Eastern Championships! She did not compete in 2007.

Carina returned in 2008 as a level ten. She won vault at the Atlanta Crown Invitational. She finished second on beam and third all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. At the City of Lights Invitational, she won bars, floor and the all-around. Carina finished fifth all-around and third on beam and floor at Regionals. She ended her season at JO Nationals.

She had a strong 2009 season. She finished third all-around at the Heartland Spring Classic and Manhattan Classic. She won beam at the latter. Carina finished second all-around at States. At Regionals, she finished fifth all-around. She placed third on floor. She competed at her second JO National Championships.
