Abigail Milliet was born on August 13, 1996. She has two sisters that also participate in gymnastics, Nicole and Emily. Nicole competed as a level nine in 2007 and Emily qualified to the National TOPs Testing in 2007. Abby trained at Nations Gymnastics in 2004. She moved to Zenith Elite in 2005 and then moved to US Gold-Excite in 2006. When most of the team moved to Denton Gymnastics, Abby followed.

In 2004, she competed as a level six in TAAF. She moved up to level seven in 2005. Abby placed sixth all-around and first on uneven bars in the bronze division of the Texas Level 7 State Championships. She moved up to level eight in 2006. Abby won the Kurt Thomas Invitational. She did not compete at Regionals. She advanced to level nine in 2007. Abby qualified to Regionals. After the level nine season, she competed as a hopes pre-elite at the US Challenge. Abby qualified to the 2007 National TOPs Testing.

In 2008, she competed level nine and hopes. She finished third on vault at the North District Qualifier. In May, she finished second overal at the US Challenge. Abby moved up to level ten and junior elite in 2009. At the end of February, she achieved her junior international elite score at the Palm Beach Invitational. She finished fourth on bars at the Level 10 State Championships. A week later, she made her international elite debut at the American Classic. At the US Classic, Abigail finished 13th all-around and fifth on vault. She qualified for the US National Championships.

Abby began her 2010 season at the Metroplex Challenge, where she finished 11th in the all-around and sixth on balance beam. There, she qualified to the VISA Championships in Hartford, CT. At the WOGA Classic, she placed eighth in the all-around, third on vault and fourth on floor exercise. Abby then traveled to Buckeye Classic in Ohio and finished sixth in the all-around, third on vault and first on floor exercise. At the Florida Elite Qualifier, Abby placed third on vault and first on balance beam. Abby then finished first on vault and fourth on uneven bars at the Texas Elite Qualifier. At the US Covergirl Classic in Chicago, IL, Abby placed 22nd in the all-around and 13th on vault. She concluded her 2010 season at the VISA Championships, where she finished 32nd overall.

In 2011, Abby competed at the Comaneci Invitational where she placed second in the all-around and first on uneven bars. In February, she re-qualified to junior international elite status after finishing first on vault, uneven bars, balance beam and in the all-around at the WOGA National Elite Qualifier. At the American Classic, she earned gold medals on vault, uneven bars and in the all-around and this qualified Abby to her third VISA Championships in St. Paul, MN. In August at the VISA Championships, Abby finished 14th on vault and 15th on floor exercise.
