Taylor Miranda was born on July 9, 2000. She trains at Byers Gymnastics in Elk Grove. She will graduate from high school in 2018.
In 2006, Taylor competed level four. She placed second on bars at the International Flip Fest meet. At the State Championships, she placed third on beam and sixth all-around. Taylor competed level five in 2007. She placed fourth on beam at the Judges Cup. At the Begonia Gym Fest, she placed second on beam and floor. Taylor finished third all-around at the Disco-Tech Invitational. At the Halloween Jamboree, she placed second on floor. Taylor finished in the top fifteen at the Zone Championships. As a level six in 2008, Taylor finished first on beam and the all-around at the Disco-Tech Invitational. She placed second on beam at the Red Line 500. At the Hollywood Invitational, she won floor. Taylor placed first on beam at the Zone Championships. She finished third on beam at the State Championships.
Taylor immediately began competing level seven in 2009. She finished second on beam at the Tachi Palace Invitational. She finished in the top fifteen all-around at the State Championships. In 2010, Taylor won beam and floor at the Red Heart 10.0 Invitational. She finished first on beam at the Classic Rock Invitational and first on floor at the Golden State Classic. At the Byers Invitational, she placed second on beam. Taylor placed second on beam and third all-around at the State Championships.
In 2011, Taylor competed level eight. She finished fourth all-around and first on beam at the Gliders Invitational. She placed second on beam at the Seattle Open. At the Byers Invitational, she won beam, floor and the all-around. Taylor placed third on bars at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished in the top ten all-around.
