Meghan Mitchell was born on August 31, 1997. She trained at Alamo Gymnastics Center through the 2010 season. She then moved to Aerial Athletics. She will graduate from high school in 2015.

In the fall of 2007, Meghan competed level six. She continued competing level six in 2008. She won vault and bars at the Texas Judges Cup. She placed second all-around at the Tumbling With The Stars meet. She placed fourth on bars at the South State Championships. Meghan placed in the top ten at the State Championships. Meghan competed level seven in 2010. She finished fifth all-around at the Heart of Texas meet. She placed in the top ten at the Svetlana Boginskia Invitational, Houston Invitational and National Gymnastics Challenge. Meghan placed tenth all-around at the State Championships.

Meghan competed level eight in 2011. She finished second on floor at the Tiger Classic. She placed third on beam at the Pikes Peak Cup. At the Houston National Invitational, she placed fifth all-around. She won vault at the Alamo Classic. She finished third all-around. Meghan finished in the top twenty at the State Championships. She competed at Regionals.
