Madeline Nilsson was born on March 17, 1994. She trained at Champion Gymnastics through the 2008 season. She then moved to Adrenaline Gymnastics Academy. She will graduate from high school in 2012.

In 2006, Madeline competed level seven. She finished in the top twenty at the State Championships. She competed level eight in 2008. She won beam and the all-around at the State Championships. She competed at Regionals. In 2009, she placed third on beam and floor at the Metroplex Challenge. She won bars and floor at the California Classic. At the State Championships, she won beam and the all-around. Madeline won vault, bars and the all-around at Regionals. She moved up to level nine in 2010. She won vault at the Denver Winterfest. She placed second all-around at the Pikes Peak Cup. She won vault and floor at the AGA Snowball Express. At the State Championships, she placed first on beam and the all-around. She won bars and beam at Regionals. She placed second all-around. At Westerns, she finished fourth on bars, first on beam and fifth all-around.

Madeline began competing level ten in 2011. She finished first on vault and second on floor at the CGA Coaches Spectacular. At the Pikes Peak Cup, she won vault and placed second all-around. She finished fourth all-around at the State Championships. She finished second on vault and beam. At Regionals, she finished third all-around. Madeline finished ninth on vault at JO Nationals.
